East Cobb Church Hosts Free Financial Management Workshop For Kids and Parents

MARIETTA, GA. (February 27, 2012)—Your kids’ favorite television shows, movies, web sites and friends all affect their attitudes about life and money. Find out how you can talk to your kids about influences, choices and responsible money habits at two free workshops on Mach 25 from 12:30p.m. - 2:00 p.m. hosted by Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 4814 Paper Mill Road, Marietta 30067. The workshops will be presented by Mary Peterson, CFP® and Derek Peterson, CFP®.

Enjoy a light lunch together at 12:30 p.m. in the Gathering Room. Then, at 1 p.m. you and your child can attend the “Kids” workshop geared to 6-10 year-olds or the “Teens” workshop intended for 11-14 year-olds. Both workshops will conclude by 2 p.m.
