Holocaust Survivor Testimony and Q&A

Sunday, Feb. 10 | 4:00 p.m.

KSU Center

Join us for a special lecture by Mr. Herb Kohn on Sunday, February 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the KSU Center. Doors open for tours of "Parallel Journeys: World War II & the Holocaust through the Eyes of Teens" at 3:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. This program is brought to you in partnership by the Congregation Ner Tamid, KSU Hillel, and the Museum of History & Holocaust Education (MHHE) at Kennesaw State University. The event is free and open to the public.

Herbert Kohn's life changed dramatically when Hitler came to power in Germany in 1933. Beginning with his dismissal from school at age six and his eventual escape to England in 1939, Mr. Kohn experienced first-hand the persecution of the Nazi regime in Germany. Come hear Mr. Kohn's recollection of Kristallnacht ("Night of Broken Glass"), learn about his experience during WWII and joining the U.S. Army in 1945, and understand how you can become involved in making a difference in your community today.
