Join the National Park Service and Georgia Botanical Society for a wonderful early spring afternoon. This hike will lead us along the river, across Rottenwood Creek, and around Blood Rock Ridge in the West Palisades. Enjoy grand views of the East Palisades, including the site of "Nancy Old Towne", a Woodland Culture Village site; and the Chattahoochee River. Returning to Rottenwood Creek we will venture a short distance on the paved multi-use trail to see Trout Lilies and discover other harbingers of spring.
