Holly Bass, 38, COO, Cobb Chamber of Commerce

Personal: Married to Demming. The couple has 8-month-old twin girls, Ashley and Reagan.

Volunteer work: Volunteer probation officer for Cobb County Superior Court, work with the United Way and a member of the YWCA Tribute Committee for Women of Achievement.

Role models: Husband Demming, mother Annette Cole and Cobb County Chamber CEO Don Beaver.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, The University of Georgia.

Holly Bass’ 10-year plan for the Cobb County Chamber is simple.

“I don’t want to be satisfied with the status quo. I always want us to continue to get better and to achieve even more,” she said.

As chief operating officer, the 38-year-old leads a “fabulous team” of 34 employees; ensuring daily functions run smoothly at the chamber.

“One of the things I love most about the chamber is that no two days are ever the same. I always have a plan but it doesn’t always go according to plan,” Ms. Bass said.

She began her career with the Cobb County Chamber 10 years ago as director of marketing, ascending the ranks as vice president of membership, then vice president of membership and operations, before becoming COO Jan. 1.

“I didn’t know where I would be in 10 years but I’m extremely happy to be here,” Ms. Bass said.
